TPM++ has been trading since 2000, and is a group of trusted associates headed up by Brian Burgess, who has been involved in delivering value in engineering and manufacturing industries for over 40 years.

We are all passionate about improving manufacturing performance through a variety of appropriate means.

Although our speciality is Total Productive Management, as our name implies (TPM plus) we do a whole lot more.

We have significant experience in Lean Manufacturing, and indeed prior to lean and TPS being household names, Brian Burgess led a project resulting in the first UK full Just in Time factory, back in the early 1980’s. This pioneering project became a benchmark for future lean implementations with lead times being reduced from 14 weeks to 14 minutes for telephone manufacture.

A subsequent project, building on these steps, resulted in an electro mechanical high volume factory in Scotland being awarded ‘Best Factory’ by Cranfield/IBM Best Factory Awards.
